Compared with regular plants, our system requires less than 50% of the usual irrigation<\/strong><\/span>, and in some climates, it can thrive with little or no supplementary irrigation. What\u2019s more, the growing medium acts like a sponge to collect rainwater, nourish vegetation, filter excess water and contribute to its evaporation. During heavy rainfall, the excess water will be channelled through our roof system for reuse, for example to water a garden or landscaped areas at ground level.
